The Peniel Ministry was established by Rev. P. Santhakumar on the 13″ of October 2006 on the terrace of a church believer’s house with temporary roofing sheets at Ambattur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Initially, the church was embodied with 10 members.
In Acts: 2:47, the Bible says ‘and every day, the Lord added to their number in the temple those who were being saved’. God blessed us with many loving families which called for an expansion of the place of worship. Hence on the 29″ of May 2011, we were guided by the lord to our present location, another believer’s terrace.
His unconditional love and abundant grace have resulted in our ever-growing family of believers.
Therefore, our church was expanded, renovated with air conditioning, and Dedicated to the Glory of God on the 9 ” of October 2016. Our church glorifies his name to date.
“The King aided Nehemiah to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem.
The King aided Zerubbabel to rebuild
the Church of Jerusalem.”
God prophesized that we would buy our own land to build our church after 3 stages and as promised, in 2018, God aided us to pay an initial amount towards the purchase of land in the same locality.
Finally, in 2022, God blessed us to pay the balance and register the land.
And now, we have planned to build a church in the God-given land. We, the church believers are striving hard with prayers and are going beyond our means on our own accord to raise our church.
